The Sun
93 million light years away, is a million times the size of the Earth.
If Earth were the size of a golf ball, the Sun would be 15 feet in diameter.
9 hundred 60 thousand golf balls - enough to fill a school bus - could fit in the Sun.

Betelgeuse
40 hundred million light years away, is twice the size of Earth’s orbit around the sun.
If Earth were a golf ball, Betelgeuse would be the size of 6 empire state buildings on top of each other.
2 hundred 62 trillion Golf-ball-size Earth’s could fit inside Betelgeuse, enough to fill up the Super Dome, 3 thousand times.

Mu Cephei (the purple dot just right of center)
3 thousand light years away from Earth.
If Earth were the size of a golf ball, Mu Cephei would be the width of two Golden Gate bridges end to end.
2.7 quadrillion Golf-ball-size Earth’s would be able to fit inside Mu Cephei.

Canis Majoris
4 thousand 9 hundred light years away from Earth.
If Earth were the size of a golf ball, Canis Majoris would be the height of Mt. Everest.
7 quadrillion Golf-ball-size Earth’s could fit inside Canis Majoris, enough to be able to cover the entire state of Texas 22 inches deep.

This is the Whirlpool galaxy. It is directly face-on with planet earth. In the center of this galaxy is a black hole.

This is what is in the center of the black hole... Isn't God amazing??
