Ok, so I was reading through my journal, and I found something that I'd like to share with you. It's kinda an observation I wrote the other day (well, the other day in 2008 :D), and reading back over it, I realize how much truth it holds.
Christian Critters
Ok, you're probably thinking "How can a animal be a Christian??" or "Is this girl nuts??", but just listen. I'm not nuts, I am perfectly sane. Have you ever wondered if you're dog understands what you're saying?? Well, if you have a dog, I'm sure you've asked yourself that question many times before. It's kinda a dumb question. Has someone asked you if you're Christian and you reply "Yes, and so is everyone in my family". Well, if you have, did you include you're dog in your answer???? The reason I ask that is because dogs must be some of the best pets to have in a Christian household. I say this because d-o-g is G-o-d bacwards, and dogs do teach us a lot about unconditional love and forgiveness and being there for those we love. So if you ask me, everyone in our household is Christian.
(Note: I wrote this in my journal just before my dog died. She passed away on October 15, 2008 and the journal entry is dated October 10, 2008. I have a feeling that God has a special place for dogs in Heaven.)
Ok, so yeah. I was like 14 when I first wrote Christian Critters, but have since revamped it to sound different and to make it longer.
