"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our sins. The
punishment that brought us peace, was upon him. And by his wounds we are
healed."
Isaiah 53:5

‎"I AM... a daughter, a sister, a grand-daughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend. I am a partner, a student, a young girl, a musician, and a grown woman. I am confident and unsure, terrified and excited. I am loving, and caring, and thoughtful, and hopeful. I am sick and tired. I am shy and friendly, and careful and careless. I am broken and whole, I am misunderstood, misguided, and misled. I... am hard working and determined, but a little scared on the inside. I wish on stars and dream my dreams. I pray to God and cry my tears. I smile on the outside, while I'm dying on the inside. I listen to others who won't listen to me. I walk on eggshells, and I walk on fire. I believe in passion, and even true love. I love you and I push you away. I want you but not so close. I am everything and nothing all at once. And all I want is for YOU to love me."

to the senior class of 2012

Congrats seniors. We've made it through another chapter of our lives. And now, we begin another chapter in our lives. We're off to college now. We've been through several chapters of our lives now... before we started school, elementary, intermediate, jr. high, and now sr. high. Some of us may not see another chapter after this one, while others will see many more chapters.

Seniors, as we depart our separate ways, remember this special tid bit from the Bible. It comes from the book of Jeremiah.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Remember, God will not leave you alone. He is always by your side. Even when your friends and family are hours away, God is just one simple knee-mail away. Trust in Him.

possible new short story

DO NOT STEAL!!!!!

A girl whose best friend leaves for college and is left wondering what to do. Without her best friend, she falls back into who she was before she met her friend, a shy, quiet person. But she retains some of her un-shyness from her friendship. She begins to take pictures of everything that catches her eye and everywhere she goes (minus the bathroom ect, cuz every bathroom is kinda the same and no one really cares to see the bathroom you used). As the summer progresses, the girl's pictures make a story that is strange and unique in the way it comes together.

If I decided to write this, I will surely give y'all a taste of it as I go along

Scars by Jonny Diaz

She holds for dear life to the ends of the sleeves in her hands,
Covering up lies that she wrote with a razor sharp pen,
And the sting of the blade is no match for the pain of the loneliness she's going through,
But we've all been there too.

Praise God we don't have to hide scars
They just strengthen our wounds, and they soften our hearts.
They remind us of where we have been, but not who we are
So praise God, praise God we don't have to hide scars

You can still see the mark on his hand where there once was a ring
He watched decades of history dissolve when she wanted to leave
And the hole that it left there inside of his chest
Is a canyon a thousand miles deep
We all know how that feels.

Praise God we don't have to hide scars
They just strengthen our wounds, and soften our hearts.
They remind us of where we have been, but not who we are
So praise God, praise God we don't have to hide scars

There once was a King who so burdened with grief
Walked into death so that we could find peace
He rose up with scars on his hands and his feet
By them we are healed, by them we are healed.

So praise God we don't have to hide scars
Yeah we know his are covering ours
Praise God we don't have to hide scars
They just strengthen our wounds and they soften our hearts
They remind us of who we have been, but not who we are
So Praise God we don't have to hide scars.

:*(

I have a friend who is atheist. And I've been praying for her. I asked some Christian friends of mine on a website where I'm online frequently to pray for her as well, and other atheists who occasionally ask questions or comment on the thread started putting me down, saying it was wrong to pray for "them" because they didn't want to be prayed for. I'm just really upset... it's a Christian thread and all of these atheists were on there treating me horribly for what I believe, and it's not right. We should respect others no matter what they believe.
